About this wine
Red Riojas are famous worldwide but not many know Rioja Blanco. As for the red, also the white is a blend. The grapes blended are all very aromatic: Viura, Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc. Look out for it as it's becoming more and more popular.

The wine maker
El Coto was among the first winemakers in Rioja to recognise the potential for whites and committed to it early on. They even got to build a separate winery dedicated fully to whites. Quite a visionary thing in a region that traditionally did red only.
