About this wine
When looking for a properly oaked Chardonnay, Australia is a safe bet. Down under they usually don't go light with it but we find this wine to be a good example of powerful oaky aromas that don't overpower. The M3 Chardonnay is a selection of the estate's best fruit from this grape.

The wine maker
Cousins Michael Hill Smith and Martin Shaw started their adventure in the late 1980s like a startup, borrowing space in a nearby winery to make wine as they hadn't yet built their own one. They are now world renowned but the focus on quality remains the same.
